Job description

A health services system in Massachusetts is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide inpatient cardiology coverage across two hospital campuses. This locum opportunity offers a weekday schedule, no call, and the support of an advanced practice provider.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm
  • Setting: Inpatient

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient non-invasive cardiology consultations and follow-up care
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Interpret and manage non-invasive cardiac diagnostics as appropriate
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Document patient encounters accurately in Epic

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Active Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain one
  • Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration or willingness to obtain them

Desired Skills:
