About the Job
 

85% Research:
The student will be in charge of small rodent handling, familiarizing the animals to both being held by human and head-fixed. The student will also weight the animals and supplement their water in-take if needed. The student may be involved in behavioral shaping of the animals. 
15% Laboratory Management: 
Responsible for the maintenance of lab notes, equipment, data management and analysis, and assisting in the preparation of data for meetings, manuscripts, and grants.

Qualifications
 

Required Qualifications: 
Current BA/BS student at undergraduate institution in Minnesota. 
Interested in Neuroscience research.
Accepted into Shenoy Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience

Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system. It is an interdisciplinary science that collaborates with other fields such as chemistry, computer science, engineering, linguistics, mathematics, medicine and allied disciplines, philosophy, physics, and psychology.

Pay and Benefits
 

Pay Range: $25.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
