Job description

Job Summary:
Raytheon, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team in Aurora, CO. This role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining reusable ground system software in an Agile environment, contributing to satellite command and control software development.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reusable ground system software.
• Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Experience developing software using C++ and Python
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred:
• Experience developing software using Java
• Knowledge of Agile software development
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, and Git
