Job description

Per Diem Nurse Coordinator

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Units (after orientation training), and have experience participating in or running rapid response/code teams.

This position will be Per Diem, whichever shift is needed: 7a-7p (Days) or 7p-7a (Nights).

Coordinates the delivery of nursing services to patients across the organization. Ensures adequate nursing staff through the management of nursing staff resources. Facilitates and coordinates bed assignments within the hospital. Directs and collaborates with appropriate department managers to facilitate and expedite patient movement. Assists the Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in continuous staff development, human resource management, and in promoting quality care. Responsible for clinical and/or non-clinical administrative duties.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Required

Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing or combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree - Required

Experience

5 years experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting - Required

General Experience in a clinical management role - Preferred

Licenses

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Required

Basic Life Support - Required

PA Registered Nurse License - Required
