Job description

Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience preferred
  • State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submittal
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous travel experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, addressing patients' needs including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data to provide appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including blood products and insulin administration.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with diverse medical conditions.
  • Assist in managing patients with respiratory support needs and post-operative care.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Orientation consists of 24 hours.
  • Requested time off must be listed at the time of submittal.
  • Floating to other departments may be required as long as competencies are met.
  • Must maintain a 100-mile radius from the facility; no local candidates.
