Position Description

Travel: RN MS/Tele Oncology 2SE

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.

HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.

Our newly reopened Oncology Unit is a 16-bed unit dedicated to our patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses.

Nurses in this area have a 1:5 ratio and specialize in the administration of chemotherapy.

Our multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff are not only skilled and knowledgeable, but are also deeply compassionate while working together to bring patients with cancer specialized nursing care. This unit diligently seeks to provide an optimal healing environment for each patient and their family in their unique journey.

Education - Required

•Associated degree in nursing

Certifications – Required

•AHA BLS

OR RED CROSS

Licenses – Required

Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)

Experience - Required:

•2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
