Job description

Radiation Therapist

Member of the radiation therapy treatment team who plans, prepares, and delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients. Utilizes a wide variety of sophisticated equipment and devices. Performs related duties as assigned. Works well with others and demonstrates good communication skills. Treatment is provided to both inpatient and outpatient populations. A focus on patient satisfaction and a commitment to safety and innovation is essential. A flexible approach to patient workload is required as shift hours may depend on patient load. The work environment may include exposure to various types of equipment and patient interactions throughout the day.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in radiation therapy

License: ARRT preferred

Certifications: BLS from AHA required; ARRT preferred

Must-Have: Good communication skills, Linac treatment experience, including setting up and imaging patients, Experience with Elekta workflows
