Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and clinician-led group, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their expanding team at Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA. This role offers an opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment within a Level II Trauma Center. The position comes with a competitive W2 compensation package and a collaborative care team model.

Practice Info

  • Orange County Global Medical Center is a Safety Net Hospital with 4 ORs and 282 beds.
  • It is a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU.
  • The facility treats 20,000+ ED patients annually and provides 24/7 trauma, emergency, and surgical coverage.
  • Anesthesia providers support a wide range of surgical services including Level II Trauma & Emergency Surgery, Advanced Cardiac & STEMI Cases, Obstetric, Maternal & Neonatal Care, Burn Center & Trauma Support, General, Orthopedic, Vascular, ENT, and Urologic Procedures.
  • The practice operates under a Care Team Model, currently comprising 5 physicians and 8 CRNAs.
  • CRNAs handle non-trauma ORs and OB Call.

Compensation

  • W2 compensation: $575,000 annually
  • OB 24-hour call (pager) $4,500
  • $25,000 Commencement Bonus
  • Relocation: Up to $10,000
  • Referral bonus of up to $5,000
