What is a Non CDL Class C driver?

A Non CDL Class C driver operates vehicles that do not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) but still fall under the Class C category, typically because they are designed to transport 16 or more passengers (including the driver) or carry hazardous materials, but are under certain weight limits. In most states, if the vehicle is under 26,001 pounds and does not meet the criteria for a CDL, a standard driver’s license with a Class C endorsement is sufficient. These roles are common in shuttle services, small bus driving, and certain delivery jobs. Requirements may vary by state, so it's important to check local regulations.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Non CDL Class C driver can potentially earn around $10,000 a month by transporting specialized or high-volume freight, especially with experience and overtime. Such roles often require commercial driving skills, a clean driving record, and adherence to safety regulations, but typically do not require a college degree.

This license is often used for local deliveries, shuttle services, or other non-tractor trailer operations.
