What is Nomad Ventures?

Nomad Ventures typically refers to companies, organizations, or initiatives that focus on supporting or investing in digital nomads—people who work remotely while traveling to various locations. These ventures may provide resources, funding, or networks to help digital nomads find work opportunities, coworking spaces, or community events. Some Nomad Ventures also invest in startups or businesses that cater to the needs of the remote work and travel lifestyle. The goal is to enable greater flexibility and connectivity for professionals who wish to live and work anywhere in the world.

What are some common challenges faced by team members at Nomad Ventures, and how can new hires best navigate them?

Team members at Nomad Ventures often work in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities and projects can shift quickly due to the nature of venture investment and startup support. New hires may find it challenging to balance multiple responsibilities, adapt to evolving goals, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including entrepreneurs and investors. To succeed, it's helpful to proactively communicate, stay organized, and embrace a growth mindset, as well as seek feedback and mentorship from more experienced colleagues. Collaboration and flexibility are key to thriving in this entrepreneurial setting.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a venture capital analyst at a nomad-focused VC firm, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Venture Capital Analyst at a nomad-focused VC firm, you need strong financial analysis abilities, market research skills, and a degree in finance, business, or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Excel, financial modeling software, and platforms for deal sourcing and CRM are typically required. Job description

About WilsonAI
WilsonAI is building the world-leading AI platform for legal teams, helping lawyers move dramatically faster while staying in control. We combine AI-powered review and redlining with rapid contract analysis and intelligent legal insights.
We are backed by leading investors including Nomad Ventures, Autopilot Ventures, and Entrepreneur First, and raised a $1.7M pre-seed round at the end of 2024. Since then, we have stabilised the product with early customers, beaten competitors with significantly more funding and headcount, and scaled to multi-six-figure revenues.
We are now expanding across the UK and the US and are building a small, elite team to transform how legal work is done in the AI era.
The role
We are looking for an exceptionally driven Founding Sales Lead to build our sales function alongside the CEO.
This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership. You will generate pipeline, close deals, and put in place the systems, tooling, and processes needed to scale. You will work closely with the CEO, GTM advisors, and over time help shape and grow the wider sales and marketing function.
The role is demanding and high impact. You will be expected to move quickly with limited direction, take full ownership of outcomes, and turn ideas into measurable revenue.
What you will do
• Own pipeline generation and conversion across customer segments, delivering against ambitious revenue targets
• Close $20k to $100k+ ACV deals through a structured, repeatable sales process
• Build sales rigour across prospecting, CRM tracking, forecasting, and funnel management
• Expand go-to-market channels beyond founder-led sales, including outbound, partnerships, and events
• Develop market segmentation strategies by jurisdiction, sector, and company size
• Lead customer interactions post-sale to drive retention, expansion, and upsell
• Design and launch referral and partnership programmes
• Represent WilsonAI at conferences, events, and industry forums
• Use automation and tooling to maximise output without unnecessary headcount
• Set the foundations for a high-performance sales culture and help hire future team members
What success looks like after six months
• A repeatable sales process reliably closing mid to high five-figure and six-figure ACV deals
• Pipeline generated across multiple scalable channels, not dependent on the founders
• Consistent over-performance against individual revenue targets
• Clear, documented sales processes, messaging, and tooling that new hires can ramp into quickly
• A strong account expansion motion driving net revenue retention
What we are looking for
• Proven B2B SaaS sales experience with ownership of the full sales cycle in an early-stage environment
• Strong execution bias and comfort prospecting, closing, and building systems from scratch
• High resilience, grit, and personal accountability
• Interest in operating across both UK and US markets
• Ambition to grow into a senior sales leadership role as the company scales
• Legal tech experience is a bonus but not required
Why WilsonAI
• Early leadership role at a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company
• Direct access to founders with real ownership and autonomy
• The opportunity to build a sales function from zero, not inherit one
• Rapid growth, high trust, and a genuinely ambitious environment
• A chance to reshape a trillion-dollar industry at the point of real change
