JOB DESCRIPTION

Client is looking for SEVERAL dynamic Ops Center Specialists in Irving, TX and San Diego, CA to be a founding members of the Ops Center.

You will monitor, analyze, troubleshoot and implement corrective actions of end to end video delivery systems for our client.

The OC will operate in 24x7x365 mode and needs shift OC technicians.

Major Incident Manager/Change Manager roles for ServiceNow and other tools.

Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot and implement corrective actions of video delivery systems.

Maintain and manage the knowledge articles and database.

Work independently with ability to lead/coordinate medium projects and provide resolution for a wide range of complex problems which include installation and testing of associated hardware/software, scheduling/tracking and providing schedule/cost estimates to project team.

Analyze customer requests for specific requirements and with planning, determine best operational solutions.

Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience

Experience in monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions of video delivery systems.

Experience working in cable Headends, FiOS, IPTV, OTT environment, Hubs, Web Services, Servers or Video Network Operations Center.

Experience with multicast IP video, IP transport, Headend/Hub device configuration, servers, monitoring tools or Web Services is required.

Experience in Cable Headends, Hubs, IPTV, FiOS, OTT environment, Web Services, Servers and VOD.

Knowledge and operational use of video/network monitoring systems with troubleshooting and resolution experience.

Strong organizational & interpersonal skills with emphasis on verbal/written communication, including the ability to understand technical information and relay in concise manner to stakeholders.

Willing to work in a shifted 24x7 operations environment including holidays and weekends.

Experience working with command-line based applications using a UNIX or Linux OS.
