Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a talented NOC Development System Engineer to support a hybrid cloud infrastructure and its applications. As a member of the NOC Development team, you will play a vital role in managing, configuring, and maintaining network monitoring tools to deliver NOC services in Lorton, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Review and operationalize NOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), automating processes as appropriate.
• Define processes to respond to critical outages, security incidents, cyber events, or network anomalies of network solutions.
• Support security and accreditation activities by coordinating and planning for WAN solutions.
• Assist with software procurements, system patching, remote device management, auditing, coordination of updates, and data lifecycle management of WAN solutions.
• Collaborate with circuit carriers to support planned deployments of WAN solutions.
• Remotely manage network infrastructure using enterprise-grade tools such as Palo Alto's Panorama and Arista's Cloud Vision.
• Increase day-to-day operational efficiency and accuracy through the development of automated tools and scripts.
Requirements:
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• CCNA - Security+ certification.
• Experience with full cycle WAN solution
• Proficiency in configuring and managing NOC automation software, including patching and coordination of updates.
• IAT Level 2 certification (such as CompTIA Security+).
Compensation:
• Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
