About the Opportunity

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for a highly respected independent repair shop in Wilmington, NC. We're seeking either an A-Level Diagnostic Technician or a strong B+ Technician looking to grow their skills in a technician-focused environment.

Enjoy working in a clean, air-conditioned shop, with modern equipment, supportive leadership, and no weekend work.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, and engine performance issues
  • Service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
  • Perform brakes, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs
  • Utilize Autel and Snap-On diagnostic equipment
  • Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVI)
  • Maintain quality workmanship and efficient productivity

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Independent shop experience preferred
  • Ability to consistently flag hours
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Compensation

A-Level Technician

  • $40-$50 per flagged hour
  • $83K-$150K+ earning potential

Strong B+ Technician

  • $30-$40 per flagged hour
  • Strong earning potential based on productivity
