Job Description: CICU RN - 4, 12.00-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) FACILITY IS SENSITIVE TO DNR'S SO PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR CANDIDATE MAY BE REDIRECTED IF THEY HAVE RECENT DNRS 1st timers okay 2 years experience Patient Age Group-Adults-Geriatrics Float Required:-ICU. Special Procedures/Unit Details : Please make sure we are all reviewing ICU candidates for both the CICU and the MSICU for South Georgia. Travelers do not take fresh hearts in the CICU and are mostly utilized on the stepdown portion of the unit. Nurse to patient ratios in this area are 1:3-4 Special Equipment : - #Tier1 Travel Compliance Compliance document due date is the Tuesday prior to start. EPIC experience is required, No training available and travelers will be tested during orientation. Provide how recent the candidate s EPIC usage was and a total amount of experience they have with it. Please remind your traveler, if offered, that they are coming in to help short staffed units, to fill holes, and be flexible. Travel experience required for Critical Care Travelers (PCU, Stepdown, ICU) No Scheduling restrictions No local travelers, must live outside of 50 miles Drugs/Alcohol related items RN cannot be considered (DS, BGH, NURSYS) RTO must be presented upfront or it will not be approved Limited to no OT available Travel pairs will be considered All unit descriptions are uploaded and can be found for majority of the job postings. All Travelers will be P/F tested (study guides are provided): There are a total of 3 different exams that may be required at orientation. All travelers are given two attempts to pass. There are study guides for each exam in the facility specifics and the facility will work with the traveler if they do not pass the first attempt to ensure they will be successful on the second. They do not like to cancel travelers for not passing the exam and try to avoid it all costs. Please note that the testing typically spans a 6 month period for perm employees.
