Duties and Responsibilities: Tutors work with students to develop their thinking, writing, and reading skills and may also work with students in foreign languages, humanities, and social sciences. Tutors work with students one-on-one, in small groups or whole class activities; they document their work and participate in robust professional development (both online and in person), which strengthens their ability to give and receive feedback and to communicate effectively. Tutors also create resources to promote and support student writing at PVCC.
