Most summer positions provide on-the-job training; some places train employees before they start the job, while others teach you your job duties once you are on staff. You can find summer positions at retailers, fast-food restaurants, state or national parks, campgrounds, local fairs, educational day camps, and other establishments that are busier during the summer, such as ice cream shops.
