Job description

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team and play a key role in both the support and development of critical software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET Core, Web API, unit testing, and Angular. Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, and Kubernetes is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities Legacy System Support: Provide support and maintenance for a legacy ASP.NET product. This includes troubleshooting, resolving issues, and implementing updates or enhancements as needed. New Solution Development: Contribute to the development of a new software solution.

This includes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code written in C#, .NET Core, Web API, and Angular. Position will work closely with other software engineers for requirements and guidance but will also have the opportunity to work independently. Refactoring: Identify opportunities for code refactoring and improvements related to performance, maintainability, and readability.

Unit Testing: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code. Documentation: Create and maintain Markdown documentation describing the system, services, and processes. This includes documenting code, APIs and other technical aspects of the software.

Collaboration: Work closely with software engineer and other team members to ensure successful delivery of products. Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends and technologies to improve development practices and enhance the overall quality of the software. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, andor working experience.

Proven individual experience in software development with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Web API, Angular, source controlgitGitHub. Familiarity with legacy ASP.NET systems and the ability to provide support and maintenance. Ability to write code, discuss its proscons, propose alternative solutions, and refactor as needed.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with modern development concepts, frameworks, and tools. Experience with macOS and JetBrains Rider beneficial.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team. (2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

(4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
