Many employers provide on-the-job training, but familiarity with GPS navigation devices and, in some cases, a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or DOT medical card may be advantageous. Many employers provide basic training on how to safely transport RVs. This is an independent contractor role, meaning drivers are responsible for fuel, maintenance, and other travel expenses.
