Experienced RV Service Technician – Airstream Orange County

Airstream Orange County is expanding and building a new showroom and service center. We are looking for an experienced RV Technician to join the OC Team. Airstream is an iconic American brand that has been hand crafting the cool aluminum travel trailers for over 95 years. You'll work on some of the most recognized and respected travel trailers and touring coaches in the industry while helping customers prepare for adventures throughout California and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RV mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and structural systems
  • Perform thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Airstream travel trailers and touring coaches
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and identify items requiring correction prior to delivery
  • Complete repairs accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain detailed repair order documentation, including customer concern, cause, correction, and warranty information
  • Provide supporting documentation and photos when required for warranty repairs
  • Communicate repair progress, additional repair needs, and completion timelines to Service Advisors and management
  • Maintain productivity goals while delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Return warranty parts and complete all required paperwork promptly
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Participate in manufacturer, dealership, and vendor training programs
  • Deliver a level of workmanship that minimizes repeat repairs and maximizes customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Prior RV Service Technician experience required
  • Strong knowledge of RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and structural systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex RV issues independently
  • Experience reading technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and service bulletins
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in a shop environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • RVTI Certification
  • Experience with Airstream products
  • HVAC or EPA certification
  • Welding, fabrication, aluminum repair, or carpentry experience
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and dealership software
