Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department | Nights

Bill Rate: $80/hour
Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
⏰ Hours: 36 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department to join a fast-paced clinical team for a 13-week night-shift assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ED RN who thrives in a high-acuity environment and is confident providing total patient care. Enjoy a consistent 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule with no call and no floating, allowing you to focus exclusively on emergency department care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive total patient care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.

  • Rapidly assess patients and identify changes in condition.

  • Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

  • Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to treatment.

  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Respond effectively to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR.

  • Provide patient and family education and emotional support.

  • Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.

✅ Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license required.

  • BLS required BEFORE START.

  • 1+ year of Emergency Department experience required.

  • ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP required within 90 days of start.

  • Strong emergency nursing and total patient-care experience.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ED environment.
