Cardiology Associates Rn Opportunity

Location: 188 Hospital Drive Fairhope, AL 36532 Cardiology Associates, one of Baldwin County's leading cardiology practices, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing outpatient cardiology and electrophysiology team in Fairhope, Alabama. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. This position is primarily based in our Fairhope office; however, travel between our Fairhope and Foley locations may be required as needed. This is a full-time, day shift position with no weekends and paid holidays off.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient cardiology setting
  • Perform patient triage and clinical assessments
  • Assist with diagnostic testing and cardiac monitoring
  • Start IVs and assist with clinical procedures as needed
  • Support physicians and electrophysiology clinical staff
  • Document patient care accurately in the EMR/EHR system
  • Educate patients regarding medications, testing, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure excellent patient care
  • Perform telephone triage in a fast-paced cardiology environment utilizing physician-approved guidelines and protocols to appropriately assess and respond to patient needs.
  • Coordinate patient communication including return phone calls, prescription refill requests, pharmacy correspondence, and communication of diagnostic test results and provider instructions, etc.
Qualifications
  • Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care and/or telemetry experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Cardiology and/or electrophysiology experience strongly preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
