Join our Team as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER!

The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for effectively designing and developing new forklift components and systems while working with other departments, Customers, and suppliers. It requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent technical knowledge and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and adaptive person that contributes strong technical expertise to a fast-paced engineering team. If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Participate in the design, development, and release of new and improved forklift models, options, and original OEM components.
  • Development of mechanical systems including fabricated steel assemblies, structures, brackets, and castings.
  • Requires strong analytical skill sets, strong engineering aptitude, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Create component schedules to meet the development schedule milestones.
  • Coordinate throughout development cycle with internal departments and Suppliers.
  • Use 3D CAD and PDM software as an engineering tool in the layout and modeling of parts, assemblies and vehicles.
  • Produce welding and assembly drawings, design evaluation plan documentation and other simultaneous engineering design documentation.
  • Create and manage parts lists and Engineering Change Instruction documentation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years experience in Product Design/Development, preferably in New Product Development
  • 3D CAD system and computer experience required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical ability.
  • Proficient communication and documentation skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-cultural teams.
