The duties of a personal assistant vary depending on the needs of their employer. In this position, you often answer emails and calls, coordinate with your employer’s clients or colleagues, schedule appointments, and make travel arrangements. Your responsibilities may also include running errands, driving your employer, and meeting with clients on their behalf. You may also perform research tasks, organize information, purchase food, and prepare documents for your employer to edit and approve. If you have no experience as a personal assistant, you should receive training and instruction from your employer or other staff members when you begin your job.
