About Your Patient
Our patient is a resilient one-year-old who was born prematurely and has overcome incredible challenges. She recently transitioned home from the pediatric intensive care unit and is thriving with the support of her loving family and skilled nursing team.
She requires a compassionate, detail-oriented nurse who enjoys pediatric critical care and is comfortable caring for children with advanced medical needs including ventilator support, tracheostomy care, respiratory treatments, and tube feedings.

What You'll Do
As a Private Duty Pediatric RN, you'll provide individualized skilled nursing care including:
Respiratory & Ventilator Management
• Ventilator monitoring and management
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Continuous pulse oximetry monitoring
• Oxygen therapy management
• Nebulizer treatments
• Chest physiotherapy
• Early recognition of respiratory distress
Skilled Nursing Care
• Comprehensive respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skin assessments
• Hourly monitoring and documentation
• Medication administration
• Feeding tube management
• G-Tube/NJ Tube care
• Aspiration precautions
• Pain assessment and management
Daily Care & Development
• Bathing and diaper changes
• Oral care
• Skin integrity monitoring
• Passive range of motion
• Developmentally appropriate play and interaction
• Comfort measures
• Helping a little girl continue reaching developmental milestones
Family Support
You'll work closely alongside parents by:
• Reinforcing caregiver education
• Providing ongoing support and encouragement
• Communicating changes in condition
• Helping create a safe home environment
We're Looking ForRequired
Current Iowa RN License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Valid Driver's License
Strong assessment skills
