Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Med Surg)

Location: Janesville, WI

Pay Rate:$1900 To $2160/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend & Holiday

Experience: Med Surg Experience Preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join the Adult Surgical Unit at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative acute care environment while supporting both adult surgical and occasional pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

  • Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.

  • Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

  • Float to other units as needed to support patient care.

Requirements

  • Active Wisconsin RN License.

  • Current BLS/CPR and NIHSS certifications.

  • Acute care/Med Surg nursing experience preferred.

  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
