The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in driving excellence, connection, and growth across SKN Bar's locations. This role bridges leadership and guest service-ensuring each client experience is exceptional while empowering the team to deliver with skill, confidence and consistency. The ideal candidate blends strong leadership with hands-on spa operations experience a deep understanding of the med-spa environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support daily operations across both med-spa locations to ensure consistency in service, culture, and client experience.
  • Greet and assist patients, manage scheduling, handle check-ins and check-outs, and ensure all forms and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Help guests select and purchase products, recommend services, and promote memberships to enhance their results and experience.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and partner with service providers to align on treatment recommendations.
  • Support inventory control, restocking, and merchandising efforts to ensure the space is always guest-ready.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on brand initiatives, in-house events, and social media efforts to drive engagement and awareness.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching new and existing team members to support growth and consistency.
  • Participate in team meetings, education sessions, and performance check-ins to support professional development.
  • Conduct technical interviews for prospective service providers when needed.
  • Act as a key communication link between staff, management, and education teams to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and funenvironment that motivates both the team and our guests.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience required; experience in leadership in a med-spa, spa or beauty environment strongly preferred
  • Prior esthetic or service provider experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of med-spa operations, service flow and patient experience standards
  • Proven track record of coaching, motivating, and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead with both warmth and authority
  • Experience with POS systems, scheduling platforms and retail sales
  • Passionate about beauty, wellness and creating memorable experiences for patients and team members
