We are partnering with a global industry leader in scientific laboratory testing and reservoir analysis seeking a Laboratory Analyst I to join their growing Houston team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, working with samples, and being part of a fast-paced industrial laboratory environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in construction, warehouse operations, manufacturing, skilled trades, oil & gas, logistics, field services, military experience, laboratory support, or other physically active work environments.

Position Overview

The Laboratory Analyst I will support laboratory testing operations involving rock samples, petrophysical analysis, flow studies, and scientific data collection. This position combines laboratory work with physical, hands-on responsibilities and requires someone comfortable working around equipment, moving materials, handling samples, and following detailed procedures.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn technical laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor laboratory testing equipment
  • Prepare, handle, and process rock and core samples
  • Record testing results and operating data accurately
  • Assist with flow studies, pressure testing, and laboratory experiments
  • Move, organize, and manage samples and laboratory materials
  • Utilize pumps, gauges, balances, transducers, and other testing equipment
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks and testing documentation
  • Support sample logging, inventory, and shipping activities
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications
