Position Information
Job Title Lecturer in Accounting (2026 2027) Rank Visiting Lecturer Tenure Information Non-Tenure Track Job Description
The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. The course load is 4 course per semester (fall and spring) with multiple preparations. Additional, teaching responsibilities may include other accounting courses based on departmental needs. The ability and willingness to teach multiple course preparations across accounting curriculum is highly desirable. The candidate will also be expected to participate in service activities such as departmental and college-wide meetings, departmental and business school recruiting events, and student club advising.
Required Qualifications
A terminal degree in Accounting or at least a master's degree in Accounting & Taxation from an accredited institution is required. Prior teaching experience at university level is a plus. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are desirable but do not substitute for the required terminal degree.
