Job description

Customer Repairs Material Handler I

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has openings in its Anderson, SC location for Customer Repairs Material Handler I that will support the Tool Repair Department. Scope

The Customer Repairs Material Handler will provide tool parts and materials for the repair technicians to process tools. Assist with shipping and receiving of products for repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive packages, open boxes and place product and labels into bags
  • Remove and deliver recyclable material to the proper location
  • Ensure that repair tools/parts are distributed to the tech workbenches in a timely manner
  • Practice 5S and Safety
  • Sort, stock parts and tools
  • Ship completed claims out through FedEx
  • Take required pictures at the relevant stages of the process
  • Test and recycle batteries
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Prefer High School education or 2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Possessing effective communication skills, reading/writing, and both oral and written communication are required.
  • Basic computer skills
Physical Demands
  • Standing/Walking for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive motion.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50lbs – team lifts over 50lbs.
  • Able to work in various temperature conditions.
