) Parkway Care and Rehab in Edwardsville, KS is looking to hire a full-time Cook to join our team.
This dietary position earns a competitive salary of $16/hour. As a Cook, you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to provide quality meals for our residents! You prepare meals for our residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COOK
  • REQUIRED: Must have experience cooking in a long term care facility.
  • Must have experience with preparing meals for mechanically altered diets.
  • Must have desire to work with the geriatric population (65+ years old)
  • Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members

Work Schedule: This cook position works either 6 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 7 pm.
