Stewart Painting Inc is seeking a motivated and hardworking Carpentry Apprentice to join our Cape Cod team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in carpentry and gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals. As an apprentice, you will assist with various carpentry tasks, learn essential trade skills, and contribute to high-quality residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced carpenters with framing, flooring, siding, roofing, and interior finishing work.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials on job sites.
  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and secure work environment.
  • Learn and apply proper carpentry techniques under the supervision of journeymen and master carpenters.
  • Support the team with other duties as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction or carpentry is a plus but not required.
