Description
The Assistant Baseball Coach will assist the Head Baseball Coach in all aspects of the athletic department including marketing fundraising game day management sports information and other duties as assigned by the coach or Athletic Director. This person will also work closely with all coaches in the Athletic Department on marketing strategies. This person will assist the coach and Athletic Director in all components of a highly competitive Athletic Program.
Description of Essential Functions (critical tasks)
Essential Job Functions:
  1. Recruit talented student athletes both in and out of the Lake Land College district.
  2. Organize and administer daily decisions and arrange for purchase of equipment uniforms etc.
  3. Maintain accurate records and operate within budget constraints.
  4. Assist and plan fundraising activities.
  5. Perform game day responsibilities including coordinating special events.
  6. Monitor academic progress of student athletes.
  7. Assist in scheduling games and practices.
  8. Assist in entering game statistics to NJCAA.
  9. Become knowledgeable in rules and regulations of NJCAA.
  10. Assist head coach in recruiting potential student athletes.
  11. Assist in camps and clinics for youth of the Lake Land College District.
  12. Work jointly with Creative Services.
  13. Update Lake Land College website with current roster schedules results and etc.
  14. Serve as a positive role model for student athletes.
  15. Cooperate in completing all other duties as assigned by the head coach.
