Job description

Automotive Body & Paint TechnicianMore Access. More Production. Pride in the Whole Repair.

Parsons of Eagle River is looking for an experienced Automotive Body & Paint Technician to join our small, highly productive collision repair team.

The size of our team is one of our greatest advantages. With fewer technicians sharing the shop, you’ll have dependable access to the tools, equipment, and paint booth you need. That means less time waiting and more opportunity to keep repairs moving and book productive hours.

Our technicians currently average approximately 80 booked hours per week. You’ll also own your assigned repairs from start to finish: bodywork, preparation, paint, finishing, and final inspection. It’s an opportunity to use your full skill set, manage the quality of the entire job, and take genuine pride in the vehicle you return to the customer.

We’re a close-knit, hardworking team with high standards. Everyone contributes, everyone’s work matters, and we stand behind what we do. If you want to be part of a respected local shop where craftsmanship and productivity go together, Parsons may be the right fit.

  • Deliver repairs that meet Parsons’ standards for safety, appearance, and quality

Qualifications
  • Previous collision repair and refinishing experience at a dealership or independent body shop OR successful completion of certificate/diploma in Automotive Collision Repair required

  • Ability to perform both body repair and automotive paintwork

  • Ability to manage repairs independently from start to finish

  • Strong production skills without sacrificing quality

  • Pride in craftsmanship and close attention to detail

  • Good organization, troubleshooting, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with another technician in a highly productive shop

  • Willingness to learn new repair technologies and procedures

  • Competitive compensation with strong production and earning potential

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • SIMPLE IRA retirement plan

  • Paid time off and vacation (earned after 60 days of employment!)
