Our growing local moving company is searching for dedicated team members who thrive on adapting to new challenges and circumstances. If youre reliable, quick to communicate, and eager to lend a helping hand wherever needed, we invite you to apply for our Mover/Driver position!
Job Responsibilities
Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other household items for residential and commercial moves.
Safely drive company moving trucks to and from job sites throughout Portland and surrounding areas.
Pack and wrap items to prevent damage during transport.
Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and team members.
Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of trucks and equipment.
Complete basic paperwork and keep accurate logs when required.
Work flexibly and adapt to different job-site circumstances and environments as needed.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, according to O.D.O.T. regulations. No felonies or certain misdemeanors within 5 yrs.
Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
Experience in driving 26 ft moving trucks in the greater Portland metro area
Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
Willingness to work in diverse job-site environments and adapt to changing circumstances.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Reliable transportation to our Hillsboro office.
At least 6 months of previous experience in professional moving is required.
