Job description

Now Hiring: RAN Virtualization OAMP Engineer – Plano, TX (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced RAN Virtualization OAMP Engineer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX. This role focuses on OAMP/FCAPS integration, 4G/5G RAN network management, virtualization, and Tier 3 technical support.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: RAN Virtualization OAMP Engineer

  • Location: Plano, TX

  • Duration: June 29, 2026 – December 31, 2026

  • Pay Rate: $70/hour on W2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and troubleshoot OAMP/FCAPS subsystems in wireless networks.

  • Support EMS/NMS applications and provide Tier 3 technical expertise.

  • Work with R&D teams to resolve complex technical issues and deliver RCA.

  • Support 4G/5G RAN Network Management and virtualized network deployments.

  • Develop system requirements and assist with product feature implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product rollouts.

  • Support customer deployments and provide technical guidance during implementation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with OAMP/FCAPS/OSS, EMS/NMS, and RAN network elements.

  • 1+ year of experience with Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and virtualized RAN (vCU/vDU).

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  • Strong experience with OAMP/FCAPS subsystem design and development.

  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.

  • Experience with SNMP, TNM, REST APIs, Netconf, and YANG models.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of high availability systems.

  • Ability to travel occasionally as required.

  • O-RAN SMO / Non-RT RIC

  • Kubernetes / OpenShift

  • Cloud Platforms
