Job Summary:
Point72 is a leading global alternative investment firm seeking an NLP Engineer to join their quant research team. The role involves developing modern NLP solutions and utilizing internal and external textual datasets to derive research hypotheses and build GenAI solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Exploring and combining rich internal and external textual datasets
• Formulating research hypothesis to derive alpha
• Building GenAI solutions, leveraging both internal models and external APIs
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor, Master’s or PhD degree in computer science or another quantitative discipline
• Experience in NLP, particularly LLMs
• Proficient in Python, SQL and general software engineering principles (github, testing, etc.)
• Data science stack familiarity
• Interest in financial markets
• Collaborative mindset
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
