Growing Environmental Consulting firm looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist with 10+ years of Experience.

Seeking a professional with project experience to ensure environmental permitting, periodic reporting, training, and other compliance obligations relevant to a specific site are met on a consistent and timely basis. ย 

This is a leadership position with technical oversight of environmental support staff services and report deliverables. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills for client and subcontractor interactions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and perform regulatory compliance programs including

Air Quality and Vapor Intrusion

Community-Right-to-Know (CRTK)

Discharge Prevention, Containment and Countermeasures (DPCC)

Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)

Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)

Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC)

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP)

Water Pollution Control Act (WPCA)

Oversee the technical staff in the performance of the following services, including:

Preparation and review of Health and Safety Plans

Lab data validation

Phase 1, Phase 2, and Remedial Investigations

Preparation of high quality reports and attachments.

Perform Quality Assurance reviews and approvals

Develop and present training materials on relevant environmental topics

Required Qualifications:

BS in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Science; M.S. preferred.

10+ years professional, hands-on experience

Thorough knowledge of USEPA, NJDEP, and NYSDEC environmental regulations

Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification

USEPA AHERA Inspector and AHERA Management Planner certification a plus

Desired Experience:

Effective management of multiple projects and support staff

Scheduling, directing, and supervising field programs and subcontractors

Knowledge of NJDEP calibration of equipment

Bottom line requirements we need notes on with candidate submittal:

1. BS in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Science. M.S. preferred.

2. 10+ years professional, hands-on experience in Environmental Regulatory Compliance in NJ.

3. Experience in EHS with Safe Drinking Water and similar regulations.

4. Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
