Electrical Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to manage field work, schedule manpower, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity for commercial projects ranging from $50k to $2.5M. As a "boots on the ground" leader, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all field work, installation, and manpower/equipment allocation.
  • Enforce safety policies, jobsite compliance, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate schedules and material needs with the Project Manager.
  • Lead, mentor, and conduct daily huddles with foremen and field crews.
  • Track progress and report field conditions and issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on commercial projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC and NYC electrical codes, methods, and practices.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical system designs.
  • Complete understanding of OSHA construction safety regulations.
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills.

Schedule & Logistics

  • Status:Full-time, 40-hour work week, M-F (typically 7 am - 3:30 pm, with rare nights/weekends).
  • Location:Work is primarily field-based, with most projects in Manhattan; must be able to commute to all 5 boroughs and New Jersey as required.
