Explore Smyrna, TN

Around its enormous Nissan assembly plant, Smyrna, TN grew up fast, and the Nashville metro's southeastern boom has kept the suburb expanding steadily ever since the lines started rolling. The local hospital market serves all of that growth, with travel demand leaning toward emergency department and labor and delivery unit roles. Rental costs undercut Nashville meaningfully while the city stays about thirty minutes northwest — the standard arbitrage that draws travelers down the corridor. Murfreesboro adjoins to the southeast with its own contracts and a deeper restaurant map. Percy Priest Lake's coves and marinas open fifteen minutes north for summer evenings, and the town's historic depot district keeps a small-town remnant inside the sprawl.
