Job description

Position Overview:
Ladgov Corporation is seeking a professional, experienced Youth Sports Official to support the delivery of high-quality, organized youth sports programs across Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, JBSA Lackland, and JBSA Fort Sam Houston.
Location: San Antonio, Texas.
Work Schedule: Variable; includes evenings, weekends, and Federal holidays based on game schedule.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience officiating youth or intramural sports; multi-sport officiating is preferred.
  • Must be properly trained and certified to officiate in the applicable sport(s); training documentation and certifications must be submitted before each season.
  • Ability to interpret and apply sports rules, resolve disputes calmly, and maintain control during heated or tense situations.
  • Preferred Certifications (Per Sport):
  1. Basketball: NCAA or NFHS Rules Certification
  2. Soccer: FIFA/IFAB Rules Knowledge
  3. Softball/Baseball: ASA, Little League, or USSSA Certification
  4. Volleyball: USVA or NIRSA Rules Familiarity
  5. Flag Football & Kickball: NIRSA Rulebook Proficiency
Key Responsibilities:
  • Officiate youth sports games (ages 5–18) including but not limited to: baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, kickball, and flag football.
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to game time in proper uniform with required officiating equipment (e.g., whistle, scorebook, ball counter).
  • Conduct pre-game meetings with teams and ensure equipment and field safety standards are met.
  • Monitor player conduct and enforce game rules and JBSA Youth Sports By-Laws without deviation.
  • Report injuries, misconduct, ejections, or protest incidents by the next duty day.
