Job description

Position Overview: MSE Foundation is looking for a 50/50 Shift Raffle Supervisor to open, supervise and close out 50/50 Raffles for the 2026 - 2027 Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards team seasons.

Responsibilities:
  • Open the 50/50 Raffle office and prepare the raffle technology prior to each raffle.
  • Close out raffle technology after each raffle.
  • Provide winning raffle information to game entertainment staff.
  • Work closely with 50/50 Raffle sellers by assigning selling locations and operational handheld devices, voiding tickets when necessary and assisting with preparing final sales reports.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the raffle technology or handheld devices.
  • Sell 50/50 raffle tickets to guests attending events at Capital One Arena.
  • Promote the 50/50 raffle program and MSE Foundation.
  • Handle electronic transactions efficiently and securely.
  • Approach fans before the game, during the game, and at intermissions and halftime to explain the details of the 50/50 raffle program.
  • Accurately handle the sale and distribution of the tickets, following program requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries fans might have regarding the 50/50 raffle program and MSE Foundation.
  • Achieve fundraising targets for each game established by the 50/50 Raffle Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays from October through June.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, well-spoken and determined to make sales on behalf of MSE Foundation.
  • A responsible and motivated individual unafraid to approach guests with a sales pitch.
  • Willing to become familiar with the 50/50 Raffle software program.
  • Ability to interact positively and empower team members.
  • Detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be available for at least half of the 50/50 raffle games each month.
  • Able to walk, stand, and climb in an indoor setting for 4-5 hours at a time.
  • Must be timely and arrive to work on time.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Interest in sports philanthropy or nonprofit fundraising preferred.
Pay Range: $32.00 hour/USD.
