The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients across a variety of diagnoses and procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being during their hospital stay.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>Patient Assessment:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.</li><li>Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessment and physician orders.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Patient Care:</strong></p><ul><li>Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.</li><li>Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and clinical progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans.</li><li>Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.</li><li>Provide pre- and post-operative care and educate patients on procedures, medication, and recovery plans.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Collaboration:</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding the plan of care and any changes in condition.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Patient Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans.</li><li>Provide instructions on medication management, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Documentation:</strong></p><ul><li>Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes in the medical record.</li><li>Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Safety & Infection Control:</strong></p><ul><li>Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure a safe environment.</li><li>Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions, such as emergencies or complications.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Supervision & Mentorship (if applicable):</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in mentoring new staff or nursing students and provide guidance as needed.</li><li>Serve as a resource for junior nursing staff in clinical decision-making.</li></ul></li></ul></p><p> <b>About Magnet Medical</b><br><p> We are new and nimble!
