We specialize in chronic disease awareness, lifestyle coaching, biometric screening, and prevention. Join our team to help make the world a healthier place!

Job Description:

US Wellness is actively recruiting qualified Biometric Screener professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Working as a biometric screener at our events screenings include: the use of the CardioChek Plus cholesterol analyzer (fingerstick and pipetting required), manual blood pressure, body mass index measurements and waist circumference with basic health coaching. Biometric Screeners are responsible for greeting wellness patients, registering patients, and data entry of results collected. Biometric Health Screener will assist with screening event setup and tear down including, but not limited to, loading, and unloading supplies.

Expectations of the role include:

  • Must be comfortable working in PRN role-meaning as needed when clients are in your area.
  • Proficiency in performing fingerstick blood collection (capillary puncture) with pipetting and Manual blood pressure
  • Well-rounded knowledge in basic health coaching
  • Ability to express key nutrition, exercise, and wellness principles in a supportive environment
  • Strict adherence to HIPAA/HITECH guidelines
  • Focus on quality customer service
  • Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to directed protocols
  • Possess professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be Computer/Tablet/Internet savvy

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
  • Continually required to talk or hear and use visual acuity to operate specialized equipment, read technical information, and/or use keyboard
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
