Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician I to join our team in Escondido, CA. This position is responsible for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of quality processes to improve product quality and enhance the efficiency of the Quality Control department.

The Quality Technician I will play a key role in supporting Quality Control and Machine Shop operations through hands-on problem solving, calibration of inspection equipment and gauges, inspection programming, documentation control, and employee training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong quality background who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update inspection programs for:

  • Nikon iNexiv

  • Mahr Federal Profilometer

  • Hexagon Vision/CMM

  • Other automated inspection systems as needed

• Perform calibration of high-use gauges, including:

  • Pin and plug gauges

  • Go/No-Go thread ring gauges

  • Pressure gauges

  • Other precision measuring instruments

• Create, revise, and maintain Verification of Measurement Programs (VMP) documentation.

• Assist with the development and execution of Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.

• Train employees on:

  • Inspection equipment usage

  • Product characteristics and specifications

  • Quality standards and procedures

• Support the review and implementation of Change Orders, including engineering drawings and quality-related documentation.

• Research new quality control methods, technologies, and industry best practices.

• Recommend and assist with the acquisition of new quality inspection equipment as needed.

• Collaborate with Quality Control and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.

• Provide day-to-day support to Quality Control and Machine Shop operations.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

• Knowledge of calibration processes and quality inspection techniques.

• Familiarity with CMMs, vision systems, profilometers, and automated inspection equipment is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and training abilities.

• Proficient computer skills and experience maintaining quality documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience conducting Gage R&R studies.

• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, or regulated manufacturing environments.

• Experience within machining, medical device, dental, or precision manufacturing industries.

• Understanding of statistical process control and continuous improvement principles.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
