Job description

Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating, communicating, and managing efficient routing, driver assignments, critical decision-making, and energized by servicing all customers' needs, external and internal, in an efficient/effective and composed manner

Essential Responsibilities:

Monitor customers' inventory levels using Lifeline

Coordinate all loads to ensure timely deliveries and efficient/effective routing

Ensure Drivers have accurate and timely delivery data, including tank sizes, directions, loading numbers, and special equipment requirements, and provide on-demand assistance as needed

Send detailed emails to all dispatch personnel at the end of your shift to inform others, and ensure smooth shift transitions

Communicate effectively, in a timely manner, to customers when issues arise to keep them updated and allow them to make changes if necessaryย 

Effectively enter orders into "CSI. Road" software

Coordinate and collaborate with customers and team members to schedule the BRT Driving Team efficiently

Monitor communications for status updates and load changes, and take appropriate actionsย 

Communicate timely updates with customers, Dispatch, and Drivers via phone, email, or apps

Respond to all incoming communications promptly and courteously

Compensation & Hours:

Competitive salary dependent upon experience

Expected hours: average of 45 to 50 hours per week

Night Shift; 12-hour shift on a rotating schedule (hybrid after training)

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Must be detail-oriented and have good time-management skills

Basic computer knowledge and skills

Proficient typing skills

Education and Experience:

Experience in Transportation or Logistics

Knowledge of DOT Regulations

Customer Service Experience - Enjoy serving others and bringing a smile to their faceย 

Must be within common commuting distance of Parkesburg, PA Home Office
