Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2 years of recent Tele experience and a GA or compact RN license in hand.

Details
  • Hospital-based position in the Cardiology unit
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • Patient ratio of 4:1, sometimes 5:1
  • No on-call requirements
  • 13-week assignment length with available start dates every Monday
Requirements
  • Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience within the past 3 years
  • Strong cardiac skills required
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
  • Rhythm identification test (proctored, non-multiple choice) required upon starting, with two attempts allowed
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year prior to returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
