☀ POSITION OVERVIEW - RN CHARGE NURSE
As a Day Shift RN Charge Nurse, you'll provide direct patient care while helping coordinate the daily nursing operations of the medical department.
You'll serve as a clinical resource for the nursing team and help ensure patients receive safe, timely, and appropriate care.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Providing and coordinating nursing care
  • Supporting and directing nursing staff during the shift
  • Conducting patient assessments and responding to changes in condition
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Prioritizing patient care needs and nursing assignments
  • Communicating with providers and members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Assisting nursing staff with clinical questions and patient-care concerns
  • Ensuring established nursing policies, procedures, and standards are followed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Supporting continuity and quality of patient care
  • Helping maintain an organized and effective medical department
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to effectively support and guide nursing staff
  • Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred
