About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Virtual Care Enrollment Coordinator to join our remote patient monitoring (RPM) team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for new patients entering our remote care program, guiding them through enrollment and initial device setup. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who thrives in a remote, independent work environment and is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality patient support.
What you'll do:
  • Conduct initial enrollment calls with new patients referred for remote patient monitoring
  • Clearly explain the RPM program, its benefits, and what to expect to patients and/or caregivers
  • Walk patients through initial setup and configuration of remote monitoring devices
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues during device onboarding and escalate as needed
  • Verify and accurately document patient information, consent, and enrollment status in the EHR/RPM platform
  • Coordinate with clinical staff, care teams, and technical support to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Prioritize and manage a daily caseload of new enrollments to meet program timelines
  • Follow up with patients as needed to confirm successful device setup and address early concerns
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy/security policies
  • Identify and communicate barriers to enrollment (e.g., technology literacy, connectivity issues, health literacy) to the care team

What you'll need:
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain medical and technical information in a clear, patient-friendly manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize a variable daily workload
  • Comfort with technology, including video/phone platforms, EHR systems, and remote monitoring devices
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
  • Strong customer service orientation and empathy when working with patients of varying ages and technical abilities
  • Prior experience with remote patient monitoring, telehealth, or virtual care programs
  • Experience with EHR systems and enrollment or intake workflows
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

What success looks like:
  • High conversion rate from eligible patients to enrolled and transmitting
  • Minimal device setup issues escalated to nursing or IT
  • Nursing team spends near-zero time on enrollment logistics
  • Patients feel informed and supported before clinical monitoring begins

Work Location:
This is a 100% remote position. Employees must have a reliable internet connection, a quiet and private workspace, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time role starting at $18-$20 per hour. Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week during normal business hours. We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits along with a matching 401K.
