Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients entering the detox program, identifying emotional, mental, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams tailored to support recovery goals.
  • Provide direct counseling and emotional support to clients, helping them navigate the intricacies of recovery, coping strategies, and lifestyle adjustments.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to compliance and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed of the latest trends, best practices, and regulatory guidelines in social work and addiction recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily center around clients undergoing detoxification and those in early recovery stages, often characterized by significant psychological and emotional challenges. Many clients are grappling with complex issues relating to substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will create a supportive environment that fosters trust, allowing clients to openly share their experiences and work collaboratively towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience in social work, particularly in substance use treatment or mental health settings.
  • Proficiency in social work methodologies, particularly those relating to addiction and recovery.
  • Exceptional assessment, counseling, and advocacy skills, accompanied by an empathetic approach to client care.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and other digital tools used in social work practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering services in a remote capacity, demonstrating adaptability and proficiency in telehealth practices.
  • Familiarity with community resource networks and support services tailored for individuals in recovery.
  • Background in conducting group therapy or support sessions.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health needs.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, securing your financial future.
