Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW | California Telehealth Role

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW in California for a full-time remote telehealth role supporting clients through individual therapy, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical care. In this position, you will meet with clients virtually, help them work through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges, and provide steady clinical guidance using evidence-based approaches.

This role is ideal for an LCSW who enjoys meaningful one-on-one client work, clear documentation, and the structure of a full-time remote position. You will work with clients across California through secure telehealth sessions while staying connected to a professional clinical support team.

Location: California
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual therapy sessions to clients using a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete clinical assessments and identify client needs, risks, strengths, and treatment goals
  • Develop and update treatment plans based on client progress and presenting concerns
  • Use appropriate therapeutic methods for clients managing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, adjustment issues, and related concerns
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and professional clinical documentation
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when clinically appropriate
  • Provide referrals or care coordination when clients need additional support services
  • Follow state, ethical, privacy, and telehealth documentation standards
  • Participate in clinical communication, case consultation, and internal updates as needed

Requirements

  • Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW license in good standing
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Previous experience providing individual therapy or behavioral health services
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
  • Strong documentation skills and understanding of clinical charting requirements
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace suitable for remote therapy
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based care, trauma-informed therapy, or solution-focused therapy
